The H2 Dual Sensor model has a different packing list from our Standard model. Before beginning installation, confirm all the necessary parts have been included:
- EcoStruxure Transformer Expert
- Hydrogen Sensor
- ETE Adapter (1⁄2” female BSPP to 3⁄4” male BSPP/NPT machined connector with bleed valve)
- H2 Option Dual Splitter (Brass Connector for connecting the hydrogen sensor to the EcoStruxure Transformer Expert)
- DIN rail mount power supply (HDR-15-24):
- Input: 85 – 264 VAC (120 – 370 VDC)
- Output: 24 VDC
- Low voltage power cable with M12 connector
- External temperature sensor with 10m cable and M12 connector with special add on cable for hydrogen sensor
- In-line cable ties for affixing the external temperature sensor
The installation mechanism for this sensor is similar to our Standard EcoStruxure Transformer Sensor, with a few differences.
- H2 Option Dual Splitter is added after the bleed valve adapter on the sensor.
- The hydrogen sensor is attached to this splitter. The interface to transformer is via 3/4'' BSPP/NPT thread on the dual splitter. Additional spacers might be required to convert female thread to male thread.
- The external temperature cables are customized to add an additional cable which powers the hydrogen sensor and connects it to the data port. Please make sure to connect it with the hydrogen sensor.
- The ETE adapter and splitter attachment removes 140mm from the effective length of the probe. So this would mean that:
1. Short probe effective length =90mm
2. Medium probe effective length = 175mm
3. Long probe effective length = 260mm - Apply suitable thread tape as shown in the final assembly picture below.
